Installation and calibration

Decos provides problem-free installation of your audiometer. Our service engineers will take care of the basic software settings and the system calibration. In addition to providing all of the equipment, we will install the cabins and establish the HIS and EMR connections.

 

Decos Audiology can be installed on any PC with a standard ASIO2 audio card. We prefer to supply the system complete with PC. Then we can be certain that all system components are optimally attuned.

Technical details Decos PC:

•  Fanless silent pc;
•  Satisfies ISO8253-1 standard for environment sound in measuring cabins;
•  MTTF lifespan 50,000 hours.

Naturally, Decos can supply all accessories needed to perform the tests.

 

After installation, you will receive the basic user instructions and you can start immediately. Later on, we can discuss how the system can be adjusted to suit your needs. Reports can be attuned to your corporate house style, for example.

 

Calibration

Decos also carries out the calibration of your equipment. In order to continue to guarantee the accuracy of your measurements, it is of course of essential importance that your instrument continues to function adequately.

 

Decos provides complete annual calibration as well as calibration checks upon request. When we have calibrated your instrument, you can be certain that it will continue to operate within the manufacturer’s specifications. All of our calibrations satisfy the current ANSI S3.6 or ISO 389 standards. Moreover, after successful calibration you will receive a Complete Calibration Certificate in PDF or print.

 

The calibration can be done on site or at our location, with exception of sound field calibrations. Natually, these need to be performed at your location. Above all, we strive to serve you as quickly as possible when your instrument needs calibration, and the period in which the instrument is not available will be minimized.
