Acalos is an acronym for ‘Adaptive procedure for Categorical LOudness Scaling’. The measurement is, among other things, meant for measuring different gradations of hyperacusis. The patient is presented stimuli of different sound levels and different frequencies in random order. Thus the observed sound level is tested in masked and/or unmasked conditions.

The Document module can be used to conduct and fill in a pre-defined anamnesis. After you have filled in the questionnaire, the form is saved in Decos Audiology together with the measurement data of the patient. You can add as many forms as required.
