Utrecht School of the Arts

Decos greatly values innovation, creativity and quality and therefore happily contributes to their development. This is why Decos supports projects in the area of research and scientific education. In cooperation with the LUMC, Decos Audiology is currently sponsoring a trainee project for the Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht (Utrecht School of the Arts). In that project, degree candidates for the master’s program Audio Design have developed a dosimeter.

The project was concluded in February 2008 with a PDA-based dosimeter. A number of academic hospitals are currently testing the instrument, naturally with involvement by Decos. The results of this scientific study will be published in the professional literature at the conclusion of the study. Decos will also make the results available to its clients via its web site.
